9800x3d + 4070, psu: rm750x? or 850

Im on the rm750x but there is sale on rm850x, wondering if i should get that.
I have a few rgb things and capture cards.
 

cpu im on now is 5600x so its bit of an upgrade.

The graphics card is what matters most.

 

It doesn't sound like you need it (4070 doesn't).

No reason to get that psu your current one is already heaps beyond what is needed

Your RM750x is plenty enough for a 9800X3D + 4070  

 

I ran a overclocked 9800X3D and overclocked RTX 4080 on an RM750i for a while.

I saw full system power draw at around 430-480w during very heavy gaming.

In theory I could have gotten away with a solid 550w.

 

Keep your RM750x, its a very good PSU.
