Choosing "English World" Gives Cleanest Setup?

Someone mentioned that Choosing "English World" - would give you the cleanest install of windows?

 

This is as apposed to "English US" which would install a lot more apps?

 

Is this true?

i havent noticed this, and i would expect that if anything your set location is what determines the crap they preload.

A lot of videos show that choosing this gives you a very minimal install - removing a lot of bloatware. 
 

the videos are from 1 year ago so not sure if MS has changed or patched it.

I actually set up a new rig for a friend yesterday.

Using a Win11 Pro N 23H2 ISO (a bit dated, yes) with the usual rufus fare tacked on (local account, TPM bybass, yadda yadda) and selecting English World, we had pretty much zero bloatware installed after setup.

but if using the exact same setup other than english world vs english US,would you have more bloatware?

 

i'm not saying this doesnt work, i'm saying that the language doing this makes no sense to me.

Yes more bloatware when not choosing English World

And then you can debloat it further with CTT's WinUtils tool.
