Budget (including currency): up to 2500€

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Baldurs Gate 3, Timberborn, The Planet Crafter, Lords and Villains

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hey everyone, I build my first PC 10-11 years ago, and except for a GPU upgrade 6 years ago it's still the same PC. My current i5-4670k @4GHz is still going, but after so many years it's time for a complete overhaul.
I want to invest in something, that'll last me at least another 4-5 years. I don't have the craziest needs, but want to go rather high-end to ensure longevity. I typically play indie games, but also wanna play the occasional AAA game, like Baldurs Gate.
Since I'm currently still playing 1080p @60Hz, almost anything could be considered an upgrade, but preferably I would want to play at least at 2k @120Hz, up to 4k @144Hz. I of course need monitors that support this resolution, 2 Monitors to be precise. I'm also not opposed to curved monitors, but that's not a need.
I do need to have a very, very good power supply. The power that comes from the outlet is quite "dirty" because it's a rather old building.
Peripherals shouldn't count towards the budget, but I would like recommendations for a keyboard with programmable macros and wireless headphones.

I value price-to-performance more than absolute performance, and want a better CPU than GPU, since GPUs become out-of-date sooner (in my experience). In general I would prefer a full AMD build over Intel and Nvidia. This is just personal preference since I don't like Intels lack of innovation and Nvidias price gouging. I am willing to sacrifice some performance for that. I don't need flashy RGB, but am also not opposed to RGB in general. One requirement for the case is that it has magnetic dust filters for easy cleaning.

My current specs are:
i5-4670k @4Ghz
16GB DDR3-1600 (2x 8GB)
RX 580 8GB

Thanks for your help!
Kind regards

Thank you!

Never heard of TeamGroup, but a quick google search says they where founded pre 2000, so I guess they are rather reputable.

Any recommendations for Monitors?
And I assume a Ryzen 9, like the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X would be too overkill or just doesn't have as good a price/performance, right??

The 7900x3d is a little slower for gaming compared to the 7800x3d but is better for computing programs. Either one is completely fine and the difference is small, so go with the cheaper one in your area.

Thank you very much for your recommendation! I appreciate it.

I hear you in regards to the RTX, but my disdain for NVIDIA is greater than those benifits.

The Chipset recommendation is very helpful and I'll do that, thank you.
