Hi there, is it worth disabling hyperthread on the i5 10400F, since its a 6/12 CPU i'm quite unsure if i should disable or enable it. the only thing i use my pc for is gaming and watch some stuff on youtube. some games like elden ring and hitman WOA got an fps increase by having hyperthreading disabled. but i wanted to know you guys opinion on the topic. should i leave it enabled or just disabled it? thanks!

If you know a specific game you really care about will benefit significantly from it, why not? Otherwise just leave it. IMO as that is an older CPU you probably want all the perf you can get, generally speaking, so leave HT on. If you had like a 12+ core system, it could be different.
