Is it safe to use a split PCIE from a single PCIE output on a 9070 (non XT)?

I am using a cooler master V750 SFX Gold (I bought it long before the recent LTT labs review), and recently I have switched my GPU to an amd 9070. Is it safe to run the 9070 from a single PCI-E cable split into 2 connectors?

I've read online that it should be safe if it's not running a very power hungry card, (it's a non OC reaper 9070, about 220w?),  but I am not 100% sure.

It's a <10L SFF case so it's very hard for me to stuff another PCI cable into the case (somehow almost all the PCI-E cables included are split cables) 😓

It should be completely fine.

Its a decent PSU and it has okay Daisy-Chain / Pigtail cables.

Each connector is rated for 150w and it can also pull 75w from the motherboards PCIE slot.

You are no where near this so its completely fine to do 🙂

I did the same with my overclocked 980 Ti and overclocked 2080 Super.

Just plug it in and start gaming 👍
