PC only booting after replugging 24-pin connector

Hi everyone, i am having this weird issue where I have a perfectly working PC. I tried to switch a RAM stick that was having issues and the system would not power, at all. I tried all the RAM sticks but it was the same. I also tried changing the CMOS battery but it didnt helped. The only thing that got it booting again was to unplug and re-plug the 24-pin connector. Do you have any idea what is the issue? could it be the MOBO?

Do you have access to a different psu you can test?

No. But I believe it is still in waranty. I bought it in february of last year. How can I test if the problem is of the PSU or the MOBO

i also find it quite strange that the problem occurs agter swapping the ram sticks. I dont even touch the 24 pin connector

It definitely is strange. The only way I know is to test them separately to see which ones work.

Okay, so I have changed the PSU and the problem is still occuring, I will try every ram configuration possible, but could it be the MOBO?

you could try reseating the cpu, there are small leds next to the words cpu, dram, via, and boot what color are they?
