Hey all, my new old monitor has given up the ghost so I'm looking for a new one. I'd like a 1440p 144hz (or higher) display that isn't a VA panel (tried one for the first time today and the black smearing was atrocious). I'll be using the monitor mostly for gaming, I play all sorts but I'd like it to be responsive enough for the FPS games I play.

Let me know if I need to add anything else.

Cheers!

Response time and clear image above all else?

AOC Q27G4X is quite affordable 180Hz IPS. But it is mainly a budget option.

Will take this one into consideration for sure, just wondering if I can get something better if I spend a bit more 🙂

Thanks!

Is ~450 pounds overpushing the budget? (there's a nice monitor but your PC would have to be pretty good too for this one, or at least should)

You are asking me? Honestly I haven't followed the (IPS) monitors for a while, but only by specs it does seem marginally better that the KOORUI.

What's this useful for?

There's no review that really pulls out the sensors, only this fella:
