  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D

  • Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B650-Plus WiFi

  • RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30

  • GPU: Temporarily using my old RTX 3060 Ti from a previous build to split the overall cost – planning to upgrade in about 6 months

  • SSD 1 : WD Black SN850 1TB Gen4 (with DRAM cache)

  • SSD 2 : Reusing a 1TB SSD from my old system for general files

  • CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE ARGB

  • PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 750W (modular, ATX 3.0, 80+ Gold)

  • Case: Still choosing – looking for:

    • Clean interior with ARGB fans

    • Good cable management

    • ATX-compatible

    • Not too large (will sit on my desk)

    • ideally more on the budget side (around 100€)

(Whit this build im around 1000€, excluding the GPU)

Thoughts on the overall build balance and quality?

Suggestions for GPU upgrades later this year?

Tell me what you think, this is my first time building a system myself, so any advice is appreciated

Thanks in advance : )

What country are you located and what is your resolution?

Nothing wrong with it

There are ways to cut costs however like getting the sn770 instead of the sn850x which is still a great ssd

A cheaper motherboard thats still good like the gaming plus wifi from MSI

If there are cheaper ram kits with the same timings get those as well

A country could help to check prices for boxes as well but I would say the Corsaid RGB versions + another ARGB fan is probably what you are looking at

If you disagree with anything I've said tell my why with logic not feeling

If you wanna correct smb do so with logic not anecdotes and feelings

I'd suggest:

Antec C5 ARGB

Lian Li 216 (RGB)

Montech 903 MAX

Lian Li 207

For a future Gpu something like the 9070 xt, 5070 ti, maybe the 9060 and 9060 xt but you will have to wait for benchmarks for those two.

proud owner of a AMD Athlon 64 cpu

Montech, Phanteks, Lian-Li, Corsair, Antec and CoolerMaster are good brands.

There could be cheaper RAM, this one's pretty cheap, but sometimes there are cheaper, similar RAM that's 1% faster.
