Budget (including currency): 300-350 USD

Country: Pakistan

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Alot of streaming, esport titles, future upcoming triple A games.

Other details:

Watching alot of Am5 reviews for 7600, 7700 and 9600x and i really cant make up my mind. I'm currently on Am4 (5600, 16gb DDR4 and gigabyte b450m). So in the budget, those are the 3 CPU options I can get (along with 16gb ddr5 and a cheap MSI b650 motherboard)

Specs:
- 5600

- 6700 XT

- 16 GB ddr4

You wanna stream therefore the extra cores and power will help ie the 7700 is the best option for your usecase but depending on how much more expensive it is I'd grab the 7600 since it is about the same with the 9600x and cheaper

However the 16gb wont do a decent enough job especially at just playing AAA games nevermind streaming and the "cheap MSI board" kinda clues me in the board(s) you are looking at (MSI b650m-p or b650m-b since they are the cheapest b650 MSI boards ) and its not a good option either way

AM4 still has value and you are on a tight budget so I would just upgrade to 32gb ram (at least) and possibly a 5700 or 5700x and call it a day

If you disagree with anything I've said tell my why with logic not feeling

If you wanna correct smb do so with logic not anecdotes and feelings

Thanks for your input. Yea AM4 is still standing strong but I want to kind of future proof (i know its not possible) in a way that atleast i don't have to worry about being to play in 1080p Ultra on atleast 80+ fps (new upcoming titles for a year or two)

and of course be able to stream them without taking a bit fps hit

Soooo nothing that invalidates what I said

Getting a new platform with a subpar mobo will do you more harm than good and am4 still has a few years in it till it becomes bad so take my word

You dont need AM5 so save the money till you can get better everything
