Rocket League:

 

It has since been considered one of the greatest video games ever made. The game earned many industry awards and saw over 10 million sales and 40 million players by the beginning of 2018. (Released 2015)

 

Monster Hunter got 10m on the first weekend alone!

Some of my personal favorites are Need for Speed Heat (~120h), Raft (~110h) and Cyberpunk (~70h)

Rocket League: car soccer game, pretty good but hasn't changed in years so idk

Fortnite: the video game equivalent of constantly drinking Red Bull

Minecraft: a good game slowly being ruined by bloat, IMO it was a complete perhaps perfect game years ago

Apex: the inevitable hero arena shooter, I've never played it but I get the impression it's pretty solid apart from the microtransactions and corporate greed. 

COD is an entire franchise. There are good games, there are bad ones. I've enjoyed the few that I've played but it seems nowadays the yearly release is a bit forced.

GTA is also a franchise with good and bad games, but I suspect you mean 5. It's not really my thing but I definitely see what people like about it, I do think that young people like to glaze it a bit an attempt to be “edgy“ when to be quite frank the series has a lot of messed up stuff that really should be taken seriously.
