How do I connect a soundbar to a monitor and get ps5 and PC audio?

I have a pair of logitech speakers however with the addition of a 34inch ultra wide monitor. I have no room to put speakers. I can only put a soundbar since it can go directly under monitor. I purchased the razer leviathan v2 with subwoofer however it doesn't work with ps5. After multiple tries. Any recommendations for a soundbar and how do I connect? My monitor has 2x hdmi 2.0 slot and one display port slot.

Is there a wall behind the monitor? You could just mount them up there. Or even clamp speaker stands to the desk

Define "doesn't work"
Like, no sound at all? How are you connecting it?

Used the usb cable from razer soundbar to ps5 and there is no sound. The ps5 doesn't detect soundbar even when trying bluetooth or usb method. The only way I can get it to work is using a usb Bluetooth adapter with the ps5 but audio delay is too much or a few seconds behind. I am returning the razer soundbar. Even using a usb c to 3.5mm jack into the monitor there is still no sound.

Do you not have a PC? This soundbar mentions nothing about being console compatible and only accepts USB input. Just not something you should ever expect to work with a console without verification.

It works with PC but ps5 it doesn't. After googling it says that in order to use ps5 you have to plug the usb into the ps5. Which is what I did but the ps5 doesn't detect it.

My solution would be returning the Razer soundbar and buying one that has a 3.5mm input and an optical TOSLINK input.

PC -> monitor via HDMI
PC -> soundbar via 3.5mm cable

PS5 -> HDMI audio extractor
HDMI audio extractor -> monitor via HDMI

HDMI audio extractor -> soundbar via optical TOSLINK

Or, you replace your monitor with a TV, or look for a monitor that has HDMI ARC.
