So I built this PC for my friend’s brother in December last year (2024) as since then it has ran fine up until now when for some reason it flickers green. It’s only just started and there have been no other problems since. However they do use this computer basically from morning till night.

Specs are

Ryzen 5 2600

MSI Armour RX 580 8GB

B450M DS3H

16GB 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance

500GB NVMe SSD

550W PSU

Haven’t started troubleshooting yet but we don’t know where to start and some tips and pointers would be appreciated. Thanks!

Either the display cable or the port on the monitor/graphic card.

Try a different cable and try a different port if possible.

It could also be the monitor itself fcking up.

I don't think it's the GPU itself, since that would more so show artifacts and not just flicker to a different color. It could be the driver that needs to be reinstalled, maybe.
