Vega 3 Graphics Desktop Equivalent Gpu

so my friend gave me a mini pc it has Vega 3 Graphics it only has 1 ram slot so the apu will run worse i know

but i wanted to know what would be the equivalent desktop gpu as the mini pc also had 1 pcie low profile slot
and i have a couple of low profile cards here but if they are worse then the apu no point using them

Wow Vega3 is worse than a 9800GT?

You can snag an OEM RX 640 single slot no external power needed GPU for $40 and under these days that would blow those Vega 3 graphics out of the water. It's performance is somewhere around a RX 560, a little under the 560 but above a RX 550. 4GB of VRAM really helps it out.

Honestly don't even waste $40 on this. It's a super low power 2 core 2 thread CPU. Even a GT 710 would be bottle necked by it.

It can play GTA V on minimum settings, barely. It games on par with an AMD APU A10 from 11 years ago. It's not very good. This thing is meant for very very basic office work, watching streaming video at 1080p, extremely light web browsing, and similar activities.

I would not say that, Techpowerup chart breaks down below a certain point and it just makes wild guesses. notice the qualifier on the bottom of that chart.

like the vega3 dx 11 and most of dx12 as well as vulkan, 9800GT doesnt. 
vega3 also has better encoders and decoders

i just wanted to know what i could do with it i would hate to just take the 512gb ssd and ram and from it and bin it 
because i would be unable to sell it where i live nobody would buy it

You can still do things with it, word processing, basic video streaming, make a pihole for adblocking, basic NAS, print server, etc.

Nobody in your vast area could potentially want a cheap PC/parts for starter PC because of budget constraints?
