Asus Mars 760 vs Asus Striker Platinum SLI @ 1440p

sgrubmayr

Hey Guys

So I'm an ROG Fanboy to be honestI know there products are expensive but they are worth every dollar.

I want to start 1440p gaming so my question is what is better the ASUS Mars 760 or the Asus Striker Platinum in 2-way SLI configuration? I know that this two cards are basically the same cause the Mary has 2 76o GPU's but what do you think? I hope you can help me :). Here is the rest of the build:

16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro Series

Corsair Graphite Series 760T Big Tower

Corsair Hydro Series H100i

Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO Intel Z97

860 Watt Corsair AXi Series Modular 80+ Platin

Intel Core i7 4770K 4x 3.50GHz

Asus ROG Front Base

and some products are worth more then every dollar, from that perspective.

Not bad, you arent missing a lot by being a fanboy. some people waste 500% more money from that, while here its not of such orders of magnitude.

I am not telling him to buy it. ShDw2 said "Why not just get a 780?" and i just added on to that. The price of a 780 is the same as a r9 290x so what is wrong in SUGGESTING it? I say "better yet" because the performance of the r9 290x far surpasses that of the 780.
