I absolutely hate this watch. It's been an actual nightmare since I bought it, more than 6 months ago.

I also have a Pixel 9 Pro Fold, so I'm "in ecosystem", which is "supposed" to "make it easier" (spoiler, that's an actual joke).

So far, I've had just about every problem possible, including abysmal pairing problems, connectivity issues, and just about everything but the screen cracking.

My latest problem is phantom inputs. I've 'had' them since the watch was new, but they're much, much worse now. It'll pull up the weather app, then the app menu, and nothing besides a reboot, will fix that. This happens constantly, it's frustrating, and it actually makes it so I can't use the watch.

Another problem is with freezing, or lag. Often, I'll try to pull up a menu, get a call on my phone, or a notification, and it will take either longer than my ring tone to transfer the ring to my watch, or it'll just never get them. Pulling up a menu might take 20 seconds, often longer, and after I start using it, it'll continue to lag for quite some time.

Pairing was a nightmare, I often have struggled to get the fitbit app AND the watch app to pair at the same time. One will 'lose pair', forcing me to start both from scratch.

Sometimes, someone will call me, and when I 'answer on my watch', the call is accepted, but no sound comes out. It's like it just gets lost.

Sleep tracking is hit or miss. Sometimes, it says 'I haven't slept at all', when I actually wake up in the morning.

I think this is a waste of money, and unsuitable. I'm probably going to ditch both the Pixel phone and Watch. NORMALLY, I'll run a piece of phone hardware for multiple years. I used my Z Fold 3 until last year. But this time, I'm going to actually reset and sell both the watch and the phone, and go back to Samsung. I hate their 'second ecosystem', but at least I can scroll reddit one handed without dropping my phone every time I want to hit the 'back' button.

That sounds like a lemon. Have you contacted support about an RMA?

No idea why, but I didn't think to.

So, yes, I will be shortly.
