Status post uneditable after posting on mobile

Go to solution Solved by AndrewAsd,

It's a 4 year old existing problem that never really got fixed and probably won't be any time soon.

Browser, version and OS: Android: Chrome, Firefox.

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

Make a status post. Once it has posted, edit it, try to submit the edit but submit button is off screen.

What happened?

Unable to submit edit of my post because button is off screen but page is not scrollable since edit element is an on screen pop-up modal.

What did you expect to happen?

To be able to scroll down and submit my edit of a post.

Link to a page where it happened, if applicable: My status post here as latest one but all of them.

This is a known issue when trying to edit the status update through the overlay displayed when accessing it from the recent status update feed on the homepage. As a workaround you can scroll through the status update to edit it from the status update direct link or from your profile or activity page.

Status updates have been deprecated by the forum software provider so it's unlikely we'll get a fix for it.

You're not kidding. What an odd decision by Invision.

If you think I'm wrong, correct me. If I've offended you in some way tell me what it is and how I can correct it. I want to learn, and along the way one can make mistakes; Being wrong helps you learn what's right.

We don't have any plans of it that I am aware of given how much they get used within the community.

Not to my knowledge, however, status updates may disappear if / when the forum is upgraded.

Where else will be spam accessible fluff that's one click away?
