Hi

I got a strange issue. After I upgraded my 2K main monitor to a 4K monitor I sometimes got a blue screen. With no further information.

How do I find out what the problem is?

I use a 4090 graphicscard

Had allready using a 34" 4K monitor as a 2 screen and now upgraded my 2k 32" to a 4k Oled 32" screen.

I have a 1000Watt powersupply and 92Gb ram.

So my PC shouldn't be undespect for that!

And weirdly it happens at some specific stuff like starting AC shadows but Cyberpunk run without any problems.

I have the newest firmware for the monitor and also the newest graphicdriver update.

What's the error on the BSOD? Or under event viewer?

Go to C:\Windows\Minidump and check if you have any minidump files. If you do, go back to the Windows folder and copy the Minidump folder itself to the Downloads folder (You can use the desktop if you don't have OneDrive syncing files). Zip the copied folder and attach it to a post. Please follow the instructions to the letter as Windows doesn't like you messing with files in this location.

BSOD is so fast away I can't even read it or take a picture.

And with the eventviewer I nhave no expierence and it shows a lot of warnings, errors and critical stuff.

Both dump files point to the Nvidia driver. Run DDU to remove the current driver and then get the latest driver from Nvidia's website.

If you still crash, Nvidia's drivers have been a bit shit lately so use DDU again and on Nvidia's website, after searching for a driver, click More Versions at the bottom of the results page to show older drivers. Pick one from October/November and try using that for a while.

Well I tried to run DDU but you have to be in Safemode and Windows is not working with my PIN so I couldn't log back in. Is there another way to get it into safemode without the pin?

You would have to use the password for the account, which is usually the password you have for your Microsoft account (Like Hotmail, Xbox, Outlook, etc).
