Keyboard backlight issues on Lenovo Legion Laptop

So ever since about two years ago, exactly the time my warranty ran out, my keyboard backlight mysteriously stopped working.

I obviously started looking up to hell and back for a fix, but no one seemed to have the same problem as me. Tried downloading drivers, BIOS updates, power drains, everything.

Again, a year without my backlight, the lenovo legion app for controlling the components (arena?), stopped even showing me that I HAVE a backlight, even though I had obviously had one for three damn years!

My guess? The new BIOS update they did back then, that switched it from a simple old design to a new one that had half as many options did it. I;m not technical enough to open the laptop and check inside. Iall I've ever done is cleaned the fans and repasted it.
