Windows 10 PC keeps crashing when I lauch a game.

Go to solution Solved by StDragon,

Hello, I have recently ran into a problem on my windows 10 computer. I go and try to start up a game and my computer will crash, the system runs fine outside of that. I have already reset windows uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. I recently just upgraded my GPU from an NVIDIA GTX 970 to and AMD Radeon 7600. I have removed all of the previous NVIDIA drivers after I installed the new graphics card. I have also recently just upgraded my computers BIOS to the latest version. When my computer crashes both of my screens will go black and then shut down and my computer will come back on and then turn off, and this will repeat.

CPU -  AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

Ram - Corsair Vengeance 32gb

GPU - AMD Radeon 7600

PSU - Corsair CX 750

Main Hard drive - Samsung SSD 970 EVO 1TB

Could be the PSU... How old is it?

Also names of games that crash?

I agree. If the PC abruptly loses power under load, that typically is the PSU going into either OCP (Over Current Protection), or it's degraded with age and malfunctioning.

Got it. Thank you! So would a 750w be sufficient again for the hardware that I have?

Try running a benchmark using heaven then furmark. Does it still crash? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?  Are the games installed on the SSD or do you have another drive it's installed on?

Got it. I will try a benchmark and see what it does. I have not tried to reinstall the game yet, I will try that as well. I have it stored on my main SSD.
