Is windows 10/11 Installing across 2 different SSDs if you don't disconnect all but one still an issue in 2025?

I need to install Windows fresh, but getting into my case is hard right now, and I wanted to know if Windows still had the glitch where an install could spread itself across two different SSDs if you don't physically disconnect all but one still and issue these days? It messed up my install 2X back in the day because I didn't know about the issue until too late, and I don't want to have it happen again.

It's intermittent but yes it's still possible to hit it sadly.
