FORTNITE UNDERPERFORMING ON MY LAPTOP

Hello, I recently started playing fortnite again, but my laptop is underperforming on the game, ive tried other games and they run perfectly, temps are good and some months ago when i used to play I got steady 165+ fps on competitive graphics, idk why but now it just fluctuates between 70 and 150 fps all the time, making the experience not so much playable.
I got an i7 13650HX and a RTX 4050

What are the temps that you define as good?

How long ago was it that you played fortnite? Because in the last year and a bit they made HUGE changes making that game run FAR worse.

Also how much ram and is it on a ssd?

Not more than 80 on CPU, GPU lower than 70
Not more than a few months, played fortnite like 1-2 months ago and it was perfect
I have 16gb ram and 2 SSD's (512gb and 1tb)
