To make a long story short, I have random stuttering and freezing in "Need for Speed: Unbound and am not sure why. It just happens randomly and on ultra settings or any graphics setting like low. I get 100+ FPS on ultra, yet I get random stuttering. No other game behaves like this. Older Need for Speed games included. I was wondering if my setup is just that bad or I picked a part that does not vibe well. I think though it might just be I picked a bad SSD as the game is installed to my Crucial P3 Plus 4TB NVMe. I have tested the newest drivers from older ones with no luck. I have even gone as far as to reinstall windows with the same outcome. Any input would be appreciated greatly.

You could try to disable fullscreen optimization for that game.

Browse to the exe file and right click into properties. Then in the compatibility tab check to disable fullscreen optimization.

It can work for some games, atleast it's worth a try.

If you suspect that ssd you can try reinstall that game on another drive.

You have reinstalled Windows, but did you disable Bitlocker?

Bitlocker does hurt the performance of the drive when it's constantly encrypting it. It's also usually worthless for most home users.

I gave "Disable Fullscreen Optimization" a try with no change sadly and it seems Bitlocker is off on all drives. I'll see if the game stutters on my SATA SSD and SATA HDD next. Thanks again for your input btw. Any and all input is good input~

This says to me that there is some funkiness with the game, not with the hardware.

I have done some research in the meantime, and it seems it's very likely the game does not like AMD GPU's or is not very optimized. Sadly, the only Nvidia GPU I have is a GTS450 and that is a huge downgrade from my 7800XT XD.
