I'm not sure if this should be in GPU or Troubleshoot.

If you have seen this post, which I asked for eGPU still worth for today, I bought it a Thunderbolt 3 eGPU for like US$180, it's enclosure + module + 1000W PSU.

However, the previous owner lost the original screws for the enclosure (the side panel and the PCIE brackets), and I have no idea what's the size. I'm guessing it's M2 screw?

SIDE NOTE

Uh, yeah, I've played some esports title like Overwatch 2 and CS2, yeah, it runs fine. However, Valorant has a weird bug which audio gets cut off after a second or so after entering menu, tried so many methods, disabling Nvidia HD audio, and using BT audio, nope, still cuts.

But for the screen though, a lot of screen tearing, likely I need to purchase a portable monitor, because I, for real, cannot work with single monitor on down time.

For those who wondering what GPU I tested, it's my sentimental value GTX 1070 (active on 12 June 2016, retired since 1 Sept 2022), here's a photo after I unplugged the power cord and TB3/4 cord:

The GPU that I'm actually will be using for my overseas school trip, a LP GTX 1050 Ti, which is comically smol:

Probably #6-32, the same type used in most desktop PC cases for PCIe, PSU, Mobo and HDDs.

No, I tried my thumbscrew from desktop case, doesn't fit.

Then it's probably M3

I'm guessing I have to use M2, since I have 2 random long M2 screw, and it managed to screw in.

M2 is the same size as is used for m.2 drives, so unless I'm confusing something here your screws should be M3

Sorry, I forgotten to take a pic of the random M2 screw I found. Yes, you didn't confused, the first pic was M3.randomm2.thumb.jpg.5e9cbcfbffc0db29e21b6efda12ccfb8.jpg

That looks like a M3 screw to me (you can check by measuring the diameter of the screw - it should be close to 3mm), the thumbscrew in the first pic was #6-32.

Interesting.

Very unusual choice of screw by the manufacturer
