I'm searching for an old school working CCFL LCD monitor for a project. Found a possible one on marketplace. But I can't figure out from searching the specs if this is ccfl. Anyone know or how to find out?

It just says LCD, but what is the panel type? (IPS- LCD, TN- LCD, VA -LCD?)

And what is the backlighting type? (LED vs CCFL)

19” dell monitor. Model 1908 FPC.

Thanks

I believe it is a CCFL, it's old enough (2008).

The 1905FP (2005) would be an even safer bet if you can find one of those.

Why does it specifically have to be a CCFL backlit monitor?

Ah okay thanks

I think I actually found a manual for it. It appears to be a TN panel and ccfl backlit from what I can tell here:

https://dl.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_electronics/esuprt_display/dell-1908fp_user's guide_en-us.pdf

Trying to recreate a retro setup using the same monitor tech from early 2000's that I had at the time. And be a 4:3, etc....
