Budget (including currency): 2200 euro

Country: Italy

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: games like monster hunter wilds, elden ring and coding

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I already have a gpu, a 9070xt gigabyte gaming oc the pearless assassin 140 and the rest of the parts list is:
- ASRock B850 LiveMixer WiFi -> 210 euro
- APNX C1 Midi-Tower -> 128 euro
- G.SKILL DDR5 32GB PC 6000 CL30 TZ5N -> 121 euro
- Ryzen 9 9900x -> EUR 455
- MSI Spatium M482 SSD M.2 1TB -> 94 euro
- Corsair Rm850X 80 Plus Gold -> 130 euro
I would like to know if this build can work with the parts that I already have or if I need to change something.
(First time I build a computer)

The outer fan of the CPU cooler overhangs the memory area making the use of tall memory modules less than optimal. Consider using lower profile memory like G.Skill Flare X5 and Corsair Vengeance.

There are numerous versions of the RM850X. While like the more expensive option consider getting the 2024 model. It is ATX 3.1 compliant unlike earlier models.

All of the components you have listed will work very well together 🙂

I dont know much about coding, does it require more cores, is that why you went for a 9900x?

I don't see a power supply in this list.

I see it now 🙂

The RM850x is a solid unit. I personally ONLY use Corsair RMx lineup as I stand by their reliability.

It is a bit more expensive than an MSI A850GL for example but the RMx is solid.

Everything you have picked out will work really well together and will play games really well.

If you don't need the extra cores from a 9900x for coding then a 9600x and 9700x will be equal in gaming performance and might save you some money.

I dont have anything to complain about really.

No Problem.  Absolutely nothing to stress about here 🙂  This is a damn solid list and everything looks great.

Decent motherboard.

6000Mhz CL30 is the sweet spot for RAM.

Great 9070 XT.

9900x is a beast.

RM850x top tier PSU.

Decent M.2 SSD.
Case is subjective but nothing wrong with it.

The Peerless Assassin will cool the 9900x without any problems.

Again, you can change to the 9600x or 9700x without affecting gaming performance.

Overall, Hinjima approved👍

The PSU is 2021 version, and is the G.Skill that tall?

The particular set you have in the list are quite tall.

The Flare X5 are significantly shorter in height.

I should have picked up on that, good catch by @brob ♥

The 2021 model RMx is fine for the 9070 XT.  The 2024 updated model has the newer updated power cable for Nvidia GPU's.

If there are not a significant difference in price then get the ATX 3.1, but its not super important.

The RMx 2021 model is not ATX 3.x compliant. Still a good PSU, but dated.

In its normal position the outer fan has about 33 mm clearance. Depending on the memory slots used you may have to raise the fan with taller memory modules. You can find the height of the modules you are contemplating at https://www.gskill.com/faq/1502180912/DRAM-Memory.

If you can spend 70-80€ extra on the CPU, you can find the 9800x3d for 520-530€ on BPM Power. They restock multiple times a day.

why not? gaming PCs can do creative work, 7800x3D will not explode if you start rendering in Blender for example

You technically don't need PCIe 5.0

4090 runs on 4.0, 5090 was benchmarked using 4.0 too.
