is there any way to check that other than the boot temps because after that it cools just fine and idles at 36.5 with a few apps open

Could you plug the pump cable in another fan/pump header ? Maybe the header has some contact issues

I bought a new pc and it worked fine for the past 2 weeks. but now im starting to notice that everytime i boot my pc for the first time each day my cpu goes up in temps in like 15 secs it goes to 70 to 90 C and then i shutdown due to safety features.

after i reboot it it goes high but catches itself before shutdown and starts cooling down.

This is my pc setup:
cpu:r7 7800x3d
aio: Deepcool Le720

Mb: gigabyte b650 AX

Ram: ddr5 6000mhz cl30 vengeance corsair

Gpu: rtx 5080 ino3d x3 oc

Psu: Msi mag A850GL pcie5

Case: montech XR ATX

With AM5 you dont need to worry about powering it down yourself, itll thermal throttle and wont let itself get above 95C which is safe for it to be at. Its probably the AIOs pump taking a bit to kick in, next tie you start your PC, leave it (it wont overheat dw) and see what happens, if the pump kicks in and it starts to cool down.

What temps are you averaging after boot up the second time?

EDIT: Just checked the txt file, 99C on the CPU is quite high, it shouldnt be getting to that at all, even with the pump not running as the water should act like a very large heatsink, it wont dissipate the heat without the pump running, but it shouldnt get past ~95C

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D [-30 PBO all core]

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX NITRO+

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL32 DDR5

Storage: 2TB SN850X, 1TB SN850 w/ heatsink, 500GB P5 Plus (OS Storage)

Case: 5000D AIRFLOW

Cooler: Thermalright Frost Commander 140

PSU: Corsair RM850e

Case Fans: Fractal Prisma (120 x6, 140 x3)

It's insanely high, Deepcool LS720 is a 360 AIO, temps at boot shouldn't even reach 60C

Cooler is definitely failing

Just on boot i meant, if say, the pump doesnt boot up immediately, thats why i queried the average temps after a second boot where temps dont go as high

Even then, a properly mounted cooler would have the thermal mass to keep it in check for the 15s that OP says it takes to hit 90
Given the description, this is either a bad mount job or the CPU is misreporting the temps

Why won't the pump start immediately? It's connected to a fan header and should immediately ramp up

Iirc there was a post a few weeks ago with a similar problem

i just checked and today it didnt thermal throtle the first time(didnt go above 88,1C) and after reboot it was at the first gpu-z saw was 56.5C and then up to 67.3C but not higher

with that cpu/AIO Combo?
I'd check to see if the block is mounted properly.  The 7800x3d does run warm, but it's not that high a CPU Draw, so it should stay under 90 on a 360mm.

it seems to be mounted properly i made sure of that.

it doesnt even move in the slightest when i wiggle it
