I own an ASUS PG35V and it has been a great monitor. It came out way back in 2019 and was WAY expensive and had all the bells and whistles. Fast forward 6 years in your opinion is there a monitor I should be looking at as an upgrade to this one? I know OLEDs are all the rave as well as 4K. I'm gaming on a PC with 5800x3d, 32gb DDR4000 CL18 ram, 4TB samsung m.2 ssd and a 4070 super.

It's still an amazing monitor. I used to own one myself. The only substantial upgrade path from this monitor is OLED imo. I replaced it with a 42" LG C2 and it's great.

But if you want to upgrade, you'll need to specify what you want from the upgrade. Better HDR? Higher refresh rate? Better response times?

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Thanks for the insight. I was just looking at moving up to 4K, the HDR and refresh rate that I currently have are great. I was looking at the LG OLEDs is there a series you would recommend over the other IE B4, C4 or G4 if I happen to go that route later on?

The C-series is the only line that goes down to a 42" screen size, which is imo the maximum you should shoot for. The C5 is the newest model, but you can often get similar performing last-gen models on sale for much cheaper. I got my C2 for 850€ for example, which is an amazing price for a 4K 120Hz OLED monitor of this size.

But if you want to stick to the same monitor size, there are plenty of 34" utrawide OLED monitors to choose from. These typically have 240Hz refresh rate and get brighter for small highlights than the LG C-series TVs.
