So basically, when I test the Internet speed I get good results: Download speed 180Mbit/s and Upload speed 40Mbit/s. But my YouTube or other online games take long to load. I barely can watch any YouTube video on 1080p and I have constantly ping spikes in my games, or I have Terrible ping with servers that are far far away from my country, even though on my laptop everything worked fine. I also realised that task manager shows 0% Network usage on all programs.

What's your full build?

BIOS, chipset drivers, LAN/Wifi drivers, video drivers, etc... all up to date?

PING for servers too far away from your Country... that's standard.  Distance is still a thing.

Well, the speedtest results are not the only performance metrics for your Internet connection.

If you have long load load times, it may be due to delay from DNS servers for example. You can try switching from automatic DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google) as a test.

Good luck !

To add to this - the easiest way to find which DNS server is best for you is to run a program like DNS Benchmark.
I was going to recommend Namebench, but after checking the GitHub page I saw it hasn’t been updated in 9 years and still requires Python 2… that makes me feel old.

At this point, you are better manually setting a few DNS servers and do some ping tests.

Well that is an option. But if you were really interested, the first program mentioned gives nice results in an easy to understand format. I’ve used it a couple of times and noted an improvement after implementing the fastest name servers.spacer.png
