Samsung Odyssey G9 LC49G97TSSNXDC 2020 Model Firmware Upgrade Help

Hello everybody, this might be a long shot but I am going to give it a try, I just recently bought a Samsung Odyssey G9 LC49G97TSSNXDC Model (2020 year from September) and I was informed from the previous owner that when your computer goes to sleep that the monitor needs to be turned off and back on to get it working again.

I went down the rabbit hole of trying to upgrade the firmware from M-T9549GGAA-1010.2 --> M-T9549GGAA-1020.0[35CE].img but continue to run into issues with it not saying there is the correct file format in the flash drive root.

I have scoured the internet and tried just about everything I can find, I have been using a USB 2.0 extension to get me this far but when I download the zipped folder from Samsungs website it's a 1.6mb compressed folder but unzipped its a 6.7mb file.

Is there anybody familiar with a fix for this as I am very much at a loss and Samsung support is no help, they are just running me in circles trying the same 3 attempted fixes over and over. SOS any information would be appreciated.

Thank you.

If you haven't found it yet, this guide is quite good - https://desantolo.com/2022/05/how-to-samsung-odyssey-g9-firmware-update/

It takes some trial and error to update the firmware on this thing. It only really likes 1 USB drive I have (I guess smaller the better?) and is also picky about naming/location etc.
