Does internal damage occur during a fall

When a phone falls from about 3 or 5 metres and nothing happnes to the outer parts of the phone,do the internals get damaged or are they just fine?

Stuff can absolutely happen internally from being dropped. I had to explain to my son recently why his screen was damaged, but not cracked after a drop. The outside looked perfect, but all the sudden was a nice shade of green.

If an issue occurs, does it get covered under warranty?

I'd say anything is possible. It's likely an extreme case that they would deny due to physical abuse / damage. Most of the time I don't think they really care or check. Heck lots of people worry about rooting and unlocking bootloaders. The only phone I've ever warrantied, was rooted / unlocked, no issue whatsoever (they likely never even checked).

Internals can get damage, yes.  But phones are very very sturdy with no moving parts so this helps a lot with durability.

Phones are tested really well in the factory and drop tessed a lot.

I once threw my phone, and the screen stopped working after that (no cracks). I went to a samsung service center, and got it fixed under warranty lol, they had to replace the mainboard

Hopefully if something happens to my phone, they'd warraty it 🙂
