Try reformatting it in disk management. Also check crystaldiskinfo.

Just to confirm there's no important data on this drive? Follow this guide: https://www.seagate.com/support/kb/how-to-diskpart-eraseclean-a-drive-through-the-command-prompt-005929en/#:~:text=From the diskpart prompt%2C type clean and press Enter.,the drive will be erased. to delete the partition on the drive.

i see, you need to disable the pagefile on that disk. Type "Advanced system settings" into control panel, click settings for performance under the advanced tab, under the advanced tab again, change virtual memory, set no paging file for the drive, then restart. see if that fixes the problem.

But you can't delete the partition or run a clean command in diskpart?

so apparently when disabling the page file setting, i need to click "Set" then ok and then restart my pc.

Now i can format my hard drive, i format using Disk management and using clean command in DISKPART, both were successful but its still wont show the normal HDD icon.

Can you delete all cached icons, and restart your PC?
it should be under  Disk Cleanup > C > thumbnails

Or

Start  > Settings  > System  > Storage  > Cleanup recommendations > Temporary files > Thumbnails

it’s this, or C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer. (and delete all cached icons here)
