nah you would know if you liked it. It's literally just like every NFS game before and after it.

Ay! Careful now.. Don't compare modern NFS Garbage games with the legendary NFS UnderGround 2...

It's the same game 🤣 Don't get me wrong. I've owned, played, and enjoyed everyone since 1995. But I mean they say the Ubisoft series (AC, FarCry) are predictable and formulaic. I mean... they are nothing compared to the NFS series lol

I have physical copies up to that one. However, nothing beats my very fond memories of playing the original NFS SE. Still my favorite.

The physics and gameplay of the older titles beat the modern snap drift physics that just break immersion so hard its not even fun.

I stopped at Most Wanted.

That being said. I am a Simracer so snap drift physics I just can't deal with.

And no.. I ain't saying that UnderGround 2 Physics are realistic.. But they are more realistic than modern NFS.

The handling felt great and the cars acted like you would expect, same with Horizon 5 for example.

If by "literally like" you mean they have cars in it, then sure...

I do not believe you played NFS Porsche or both Shift 1 and 2 if you claim the new games are like them.

The tuning in underground was hilarious... Like putting in short gears in a Lancer made it beat a much faster Corvette... But it was still close, you needed to be driving near flawlessly with the lancer while Corvette could brute force everything.

And I'd say the physics were fairly realistic, you could even flip a car going slightly too steep into or out of a corner...

And EVERY CAR WAS DIFFERENT (and needed different tricks!)

Modern NFS has nothing on this...

The direction tells you... the direction

Heh yes I have played them all. There is a car in the middle of the screen and you are nursing your speed around corners to get first place. Porsche Unleashed was hard on my soul. I still miss using the turn signals 🙂
