Heavily depends on what is your use case. If your use case cant maximize the use of X3D cache, Zen 5 IPC advantage is more than enough to overcome 7800X3D advantages elsewhere. In that case might as well eye for 9700X, or wait for 9800X3D stocks and pricing to normalize back at its MSRP.

I actually saw comparison in games.. and in some games its actually a big difference.. and i have 9800x3d stocks here. Should i go for that then?

exactly that, some titles. Those with poorly optimized physics call, low core count use or tendency to offload to CPU, games like Microsoft Flight Simulator, Star Citizen, Hitman 3 (WoA), or CS2. But for many other titles that are more well built on that front or just outright GPU biased like Apex Legends, Forza, Cyberpunk, and others, its just going to be a waste of cash. And if youre playing at 1440p and 4K, forget it. Most of the time your GPU is the crutch, not the CPU. Youll see a far better improvement in overall framerate upgrading your GPU in that scenario almost regardless of titles.
