sub-$500 laptop recommendation?

US-California buyer. Looking for a cheap but solid laptop for my niece that will last at least 3 years, and run at least the following games: Minecraft, Stardew valley, and Roblox. I have a mental block against buying HP products, but looking for any recommendations, as this isn't something I've considered buying for a long time. Thanks for your help.
