PC turns on, no output on monitors, nothing happens. wont post.
I pop my old cpu back in everything works just fine.

Troubleshooting steps ive tried:
clearing the CMOS (though i probably didnt do it right)
Reseeding the CPU

and thats kinda it didnt know what else to do.

Any advice is appreciated.

BIOS should be fine as the board should support the CPU since F60. There is a new BIOS F64d available so try update to that.

(Gigabyte also resets CMOS SETTINGS when you flash the BIOS)

I woould suggest use minimum system setup (GPU since 5700X3D have no integrated, ONE RamStick, no storage) then try clear CMOS again.

(Follow the motherboard manual, or use generic method: disconnect power-> press power button for a few times->take out the CR2032 BATTERY-> Use something like a paperclip or large screwdriver to connect the two Battery terminals)

**If your motherboard uses a jumper to clear CMOS, make sure the jumper returned to normal position. In many motherboards it's usually a open jumper.

Also, did you get fan spin?
