Im currently ordering parts for a backpack friendly sff build.

For now I have ordered 4070 Super ventus 2x and 650 sfx psu(used). I need help decided which CPU to go for. Its either 7600x, 7700, 7700x or 7800x3D(maybe 650w PSU is not sufficient for this one?).

I am probably going for either Dan A4-SFX or K49 case, so the cpu cooling is going to be limited. I see that the 7700 isnt really THAT much slower than 7800x3d, but possibly runs alot cooler. Am I doing an alright decision if I go for 7700? I will try to undervolt both as much as I can.

I am not looking to chase for max fps or graphics. I will turn down graphics in order to get a quieter fans etc.

Thanks in advance!

Any reason for these specific cases?

The dan is very small, very expensive and offers little space for cooling or parrts.

The k49 is also very cramped but then has a much worse vented panel which will lower airflow.

Any reason a nr200p or something isnt on the table? Fits a smaller tower cooler and can offer pretty decent airflow whilst still being small.

Id then honestly just look for a small but not hyper compact pc.

Please be VERY VERY VERY mindfull that it is EXTREMELY easy for a desktop pc to just have the gpu rip off a pcie slot, pcie riser or damage a pcie link wirh movement. Neither of these cases have a gpu locking system that will allow ZERO movement. If its to be carried around a lot get a laptop this pc will break down sooner rather than later.

Thanks for responding. I have a very specific need for a ultra compact gaming pc. I have considered all the other cases that have better cooling, like the DAN H2o also, but it simply is too big for my need. NR200P was also considered, but it doesnt fit my backpack nicely. The width and height kills it.

When I say quiet fans, I mean quiet as it can be for being that small, but it will still be quieter than my 4080 laptop ever will be. Right? The laptop screams even doing the tiniest thing like opening chrome.

Thanks for the headsup for the GPU not being properly secured! I feel confident that I can work out a 3d printed bracket to secure it better.
