When I get ptm7950 and redo the thermals on my laptop what all should I put it on I’m new to this so I’m wanting to make sure to put it on all necessary components or use the right thing on the right parts, thank you to anyone who can answer.  Picture is the best reference I could find of my board.  I know Gpu and cpu but didn’t know about the other chips surrounding the gpu and cpu.

Only these. Ptm7950 is NOT A THERMAL PAD REPLACEMENT so keep the thermal pads. If this is one of those odd asus laptops that uses thermal putty same thing do NOT use ptm.

Ptm should only be used on very thin margin connection points like the cpu and gpu.

Oh and use the general tips. Freeze it before cutting, oversize it a bit to ensure proper contact at all times, use sharp scissors(cool them too a bit it helps) and thats about it

Thank you when I pull off heat exchanger and expose the gpu and cpu what do I put on the other components to make sure they are also gonna be cool. Just want to make sure everything is done.
