Looking at getting a U12S that comes with a single F12 fan, https://a.co/d/bDLY1x6

but i'm not sure if its best to use a static pressure or airflow fan on both sides of the cooler, or if I should use static on the front and airflow on the back, etc.

I had bought an F12 to use as an exhaust cooler a while back when I didn't know the difference between the A12 and F12, so I'm debating whether I should get the u12s which has one f12, and slap another one on, or if i should get the u12a which comes with two a12 fans, and find another use for my current f12.

Why not just get a better cooler for less like thermalright peerless assasin 120?  What is this cooler cooling?

The cooler is too small to benefit from any pressure fans and does little better with an a series fan.

If you want a brown fan a u12s is like 60$ a thermalright is 35$. you can get an a12 fan and just put it in the middle and it will still cool a lot better than the u12s and still be cheaper to boot.

Like a u12s is totally fine for a 9700x but well if you are spending noctua premium might as well get the most out of em and just get a much better cooler to then just swap the fans with what you like on it. Ending with literally a nhd15 on a budget :p.

Speaking off check if you can find used noctua stuff like a nhd15 or nhd14 they are all am4 compatible and noctua has the adapter kits for CHEAP.
