Graphite shielding paint is a genuinely useful product, its sure expensive though. The only interaction I've ever had with graphite paint is with electric guitars -- it is a common way to discreetly shield sensitive internal audio wiring from EMF interference since it is quick to apply and make an almost seamless enclosed cavity even if it has weird shapes. When I do work on my own guitars, I tend to prefer copper foil tape though, because its surprisingly not any more expensive than graphite paint usually, and does a little bit better of a job of blocking EMF than paint. It's just more work to apply evenly.

So you might get even better Wi-Fi isolation results by coating your entire walls in copper foil (works even better than aluminum foil), but that's even less discrete than graphite paint probably. 馃榾

Phase 2:
Linus and Elijah foil coat the rooms that're already graphite painted

My apartment flooded shortly after this video and I might have to rip up all the carpet anyways....Maybe I should ask Woremor for more paint and just paint the sub floor...

Hey silver is an even better conductor. Might as well just coat your walls with that lol. 馃槣

I think there is a significant amount of people who'd go for a copper-brown over a pitch-black for an aesthetic. Especially the steam punkers out there. I wonder how it would work grinding copper powder or other conductive metals into a paint...聽馃

Dreaming of the day when my brain cell doesn't betray me.
