I hope I've put this in the right spot!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and relevantly it has a USB port. But this one single port is for any way that you want to connect to it, which means if I want to talk on the phone and charge it at the same time, I either need a wireless headphone of some sort (eg Bluetooth) - and I'm ancient and I prefer wired for that - or wireless charging... which is harder if I'm walking somewhere. So what I really want is some kind of hub that will allow me to charge my phone and plug in my headphones at the same time. Relevantly here: I'm in Canada and I don't shop online - I generally stop into places like Canada Computers or Best Buy for my electronic needs. Do any of you have any useful suggestions for this kind of device?

Thanks!

Give (true) wireless headphones a try. I was a wired headphone purist for a long time until I caved in and purchased AirPods. Now I can't even imagine have to deal with a dangling wire when I'm doing any kind of work. Well, sometimes I do pull out wired earbuds at work... and then I promptly return to wireless after like 20 minutes.

Samsung makes excellent ones on the Android side. These ones specifically are a good price/quality ratio

Wireless headphones are a real drag given they make the batteries irreplaceable so you have to buy new headphones every few years.  Also when I took a long train journey they didn't last the whole way.

There's also the rare but concerning cases of the batteries exploding, blowing the contents into your ear canal.

I do currently use wireless as I got them bundled with my S10, but when they no longer hold a charge I wont be replacing them as there are too many disadvantages.

I've tried wireless ear buds before and just ended up not using them after a while. I don't like having to remember to recharge them, or worrying about dropping them or losing them, and then the other option would be wireless headphones - but I don't use headphones unless I'm at my computer and want to be quieter or am also using its mic. Suffice it to say, I don't think they're for me.

Which is why I'm looking for some way to connect my headphones and my charger to my phone's single USB type C port at the same time. I can deal with janky solutions if I need to, I just want something that'll work for them.

Has anyone come across a hub or something similar that would work for this?

Thanks!
