My HDD is now stuck on this continuous black loop for hours and I'm sure on what to do next. I am not a PC technician so I really don't know what I'm doing so any help is appreciated!

There is just a loading loop and no windows logo:

PART 1:

For context, I  had recently installed a new m.4 SSD with another separate windows 10 OS onto it.  I did encounter some boot issues within the past few days as trying to boot into HDD would lead to it going into repair mode whilst running diagnostics.

A few additional info is that I have been moving and deleting some files from my HDD  to the SDD,  for some reason, some of my HDD deleted files has ended up into my SSD recycle bin?? This has eventually to showing the my SSD recycle bin corrupted for some reason - however I can still run my SSD normally

PART 2:

  • Today I tried to boot up the OS from the HDD and did the usual repair and running diagnostics routine but this eventually led to the continuous black loading screen.

  • I then tried to boot up from other OS on the SSD and it ran some automatic windows updates, shut down automatically and then resumed the latter half of the update and  everything seemed fine on the SSD OS,

  • I went to check up my HDD drive and unfortunately I was not able to access it, the drive was now listed as a NTFS drive instead of the usual ":E drive" - Upon trying to enter these files, a message popped up along the lines of unauthorized access or something along these lines?

  • My next steps was to shutdown, and try to go into the repair mode for HDD via the shutdown method and secondly the windows media creation tool. I have now done this several times with and without the SDD.

  • And I ran out of options, decided to remove all USB cables and the SSD, tried to run Diagnostics and  startup repair,  there is no previous restore point, I cannot uninstall any updates as well.  The start up repair ends up with a log file:  e/windows system32 logfiles srttrail.txt

  • I then tried to repair boot files using the command prompt with the method below:

1-Go to Troubleshoot.

2-Now, go to Advanced Options >Command prompt

3-Run these commands:

chkdsk c: /f /r (and press Enter)

bootrec /fixmbr (and press Enter)

bootrec /fixboot (and press Enter)

bootrec /scanos (and press Enter)

bootrec /rebuildbcd (and press Enter) - Selected Y to add installation to boot list.

sfc /scannow  (and press Enter)   - This did not work as it led to sfc /scannow windows resource protection

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth -Fails as well.

Reinstallation??? (Has my boot/OS corrupted?)

I am now on the urge to reinstall windows 10 OS on the existing HDD with the media creation tool.  I cannot however upgrade, I can only install a new OS on the HDD, it is showing that is around 600GB left, so does that mean that my files are intact and not corrupted? :

Recover files but by booting  from SSD?

Should I just insert my SSD with the working OS and grab my files from there?  The only problem is that I can't get in because of unauthorized access?

EDIT: I retreated back to starting the OS normally and finally this had let to windows boot manager error.

Please if anyone has any ideas pray do tell!

For now, create some Linux live CD, like Ubuntu, and run it from ther ( just run, not install )

you should have Access to the data on the hdd and be abble to copy it somwear…  ( if it’s not encrypted )

afther that run your os from Ssd, and give us screen from crystaldiskinfo of that hdd.
