Hi so I just got a new build from MicroCenter. Here is the part list
Ryzen 7 7800x3d

Asus TUF gaming b650-e wifi

G.Skill 32g 2x ddr5-6000 cl36

Radeon rx 7900xt

Pny 1tb gen 5 nvme ssd

corsair rm750x fm 80+ gold atx 3.1

Thermal right peerless assassin 120se

all in a montech sky two

The issue I have ran into is that after installing windows 11 pro and updating the bios all drivers, my ethernet download speeds are 90mbps max. This issue with this is that I live on a college campus and the same ethernet cable plugged into my old Acer Predator laptop gives me download speeds of +-950mbps. I did have the thought that the university could be throttling my speeds for some reason, since technically we have to register devices on the network but I never had to register my old laptop and was still getting speeds like that. So, I called microcenter, since they were the ones who built it, to see if they could help and they had me uninstall all network devices in the device manager and restart my pc. After that we still had the same issue. They told me to just bring it back in but it is a 3 hour drive and I feel like its probably a software related issue that could be fixed without making the drive. I went into the windows settings and the pc does recognize that the network I am on is 1000/1000 even thought im getting like 100/100 basically. So what should I do now? Does anyone have any fixes or suggestions for me? Also I will include some screenshots showing that the latest LAN and Wifi drivers are downloaded and the current speeds I am getting along with a screenshot of the windows settings menu showing the 1000/1000 speeds.

Hmmmm,

hard to tell,

there's one (two actually) older driver(s) you could try:

Of course make sure if you're W11/W10 to select right OS.

Hi OP here, thank you for the suggestion. I just tried both of these and both gave the same slow speeds afterwards so I just updated the drivers back to the newest version.

then I'm out of ideas, you could try few CMD hacks that might fix it up, but that's it
