Cl30 XMP or CL36 EXPO?

Hi all, I recently discovered my ram was XMP optimised, and was wondering if it would be better to swap it for one that was EXPO optimised. I'm very big on aesthetics, and would really love to have white corsair vengeance ram, however, they do not make CL30 EXPO ram in white, and cl36 is my only option. Would it be better to change to CL36 EXPO ram, or keep my CL30 XMP one?

Both are 6000mhz 32gb and I am running a Ryzen 7 7700x with a Asus ROG mobo if that helps. Thanks so much!

The difference between CL30 and CL36 is so low that it really doesn't matter.

You may lose 1-3 FPS, if that.

 

Get the pretty white CL36 kit No problem.

keep the cl30 since the xmp expo issues were fixed awhile back and theres basically no diff these days

 

definitely do not want a high cl garbage kit as those will be some rubbish samsung/micron that youll have to replace down the road when cpus start to outpace them and require 7000+ unlike your existing kit which is probably hynix a die and capable of >9000 so should just ride out the entire ddr5 gen no problem

 

and you might aswell do this as itll pull quite abit ahead of those crappy samsung/micron kits when higher frequencies arent needed yet, superior ics simply perform better both bone stock and tuned

No options on 6400CL32? Iirc there's still Ripjawz S5 in white on that speed.
