What are the differences between them for productivity?

Somewhat higher clock speeds and a bit more optimized whichever you get you wont see leaps and bounds worth of difference but the 14th gen one is objectively better even by that margin

Planning to upgrade my cpu, should I get 13600kf or the 14600kf both are at similar price point in my place? but in the event I don't have enough budget for either of those 2 I'm planning to get a 14400 instead or are there any better alternatives than the 14400. Not planning to change the motherboard so I'm staying with the socket.

I mainly use my PC to play games, do photo/video editings, coding and graphics design.

Currently, I have an RTX 3070 and a 1440p monitor.

Considering you situation a 14400 is a more than decent upgrade to begin with

Both the 13 and 14600kf are good but since you actually do productivity you'd Ideally want the 14 one

14400f looks to be just a 13400f which itself is just a crippled 12600k so yeah not gonna be a very good upgrade

as for 13600k vs 14600k cheapest one is the best one as theyre basically the same thing since 14th gen is just a 13th gen refresh and performance uplift is pretty dissapointing with the only real diff being the 14700k that now has 12 e cores instead of 8 on the 13700k so for productivity the 14700k looks pretty good

1) At least from what writtern its a 14400 over a 12400f which is both a performance uplift and you get integrated graphics (can help with video editing and photo editing) both of which are better

2)I did mention that the 14600kf is only slighlty better and thats why I said

Which is not wrong. The 14th one is very slighlty better which objectively isnt wrong

I dont disagree that the 13600kf is more worth it but if he can afford it why not?
