Went from 7800XT to 4070Ti Super and I'm having lower FPS?

In BO6 I was averaging around 135-150 FPS and even seeing peeks around 180 during gameplay on the Extreme preset at 110 FOV with CAS Fidelity on my 7800XT. Now on my 4070 Ti Super I'm getting around 110-125 FPS AVG and peaking only around 160 during gameplay, though while the FPS is more consistent I even drop to 90-95 in certain maps all same settings as before. Did I just get unlucky and get a bad 4070Ti Super or why am I having significantly less performance? I also did a 3DMark Time Spy run and got 23928 GPU Score and a 10735 CPU score which at least according to 3DMark said it was average for other systems with my specs but if that's the case then why I am getting so much less performance in BO6? Can others with the same GPU as me tell me what you guys average in game

CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x3D

RAM: 16Gbs 3200Mhz

PSU: 750watt MSI MAG

You sure youve uninstalled the AMD GPU drivers? Also BO6 can get really wonky so resetting the video settings could also help to atleast set a proper baseline.

Hard to say without realtime stats from the CPU and GPU while in game.

Also try another game.

All in all this GPU change wasn't much of an upgrade to begin with, and COD seems to favor AMD.

I would suggest different game settings Because that FPS is what you would expect for the 4070ti super. the 7800xt results you posted seem to be an outlyer.

Also given how similar these cards are in performance, I am also confused why you spent money to just side grade.

Most latency chasers keep arguing that Nvidia has better latency and performance on Black Ops because of nvidia sided optimization.

Because of Nvidia Reflex?
AMD also has similar tech, AMD anti-Lag.

@SorryBella didnt say otherwise from what I understood at least

I believe they gave the argument that it isnt a side grade but an upgrade according to others who argue nvidia has less latency in such games

@starsmine Yep, thats what was argued. They dont even recommend RALL nor Reflex to be turned on either, because that increases CPU overhead and worsen frame time. Basically the theory is that certain games are built better for specific hardware brand combination and thus has the least latency. Commonly, this is Intel-Nvidia.

I mean... yes... Reflex/RALL does weird things with CPU load... but like.... that take is unhinged.

those people would rather have... higher latency to have the possiblity of having a higher frame rate in CPU bound sections (lower frame time)

So just reinstall the 7800XT and return the 4070Ti Super?

Yes, the upgrade in performance isn't worth the money. OP just get your money back.
