(first post might be bad layered etc wtv u call it just please help) Whats a budget upgrade i can get to be able to run games like silent hill 2 remake at atleast a decent frame rate like 50-60?

I went on discords and asked and someone said i should start with upgrading the cpu to a 5800XT or 5700X then later on when i have the money i should invest in a GPU like a  ASRock AMD Radeon RX 7600 Challenger 8GB or a B580 or B570. But he said i should only get a b580 or a b570 if i have rebar which i dont know what that is. Please help me find the ideal upgrade for a budget (amazon only since i got a giftcard and on a tight budget)
Around 200$ MAX on cpu
And 300$ MAX on gpu
Personally id like it lower

Current specs:

GPU- GeForce gtx 1650

CPU- AMD ryzen 3 1300x quad core processor

RAM- 16 GB 3200mhz

SSD- Kingston SA400S37480G

Motherboard- a320m-s2h-cf

Power Supply- 600 Watt

Psu make and model please.

The boadd is really really bad but can work with an 8 core provided these enough airflow.

For cpu a 5700x3d is the best buy + a budget wir cooler as the stock cooler of the 1300x is NOT cutting it. What case do you have? so we can recommend a nice budget one that fits.

Gpu well id honestly go look used or else id say ask again when buying that. An arc b580 is not a bad buy at all but who knows if its still the ebst option by then.

Welcome to the forums!
Agree with a 5700x3d and wait on the GPU. If you absolutely must GPU as well, looks like 3070s are going for about 300 used on ebay

I would recommend updating the Bios, adding a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU and an RTX 3060 12GB GPU.

I've bought about a dozen used GPUs, all were completely fine. CPUs are nearly indestructable and I've gotten used RAM with no problem (except when *I* mess up and misread a listing 0.0). I'd stay away from used storage or PSUs. Mobos are a mixed bag but usually not a steep enough discount to both with
In order to make sure that a GPU is decent, I usually look for pics and ask for a screenshot of GPU-Z and a run of Time Spy or similar benchmark.

Agreed! I went from a quad core i7 7700 to a 5700X3D before I got a new graphics card and it was amazing!

I got mine off Jawa and its pretty good, but selection can be limited. eBay is where people usually get used cards.
