Celebrities like Russell Brand, the UFC and Tiki Barber are trying to get you to buy an expensive amulet that will protect you from 5G and Wifi.  But does their amulet even do anything? And do you even have to be worried about 5G radiation?

Might want to add a Geiger Counter to your equipment, some of those so called 'negative ion' charms are actually radioactive.

I suspect there's no small overlap between these and the 5G/Wifi protection scam products. Something to be very aware of when handling these, storing these, or disposing of these as your local regulations may vary.

I've been looking forward to this video ever since people started noticing the necklace Linus was wearing last month. Good use of all the lab equipment. Even if it was obviously a scam it was still cool seeing you go through the tests to debunk it.

Did anyone at LTT look up Brand's history?

Not sure what you mean... that if they had they would see that he's a conman and a scumbag? I don't know who would give his endorsement any weight, but apparently there must still be some people out here who like him or the companies pushing crap like this wouldn't pay him to flog it. The only question is whether Brand himself is deranged enough to actually believe in this thing.

Tiki Barber and UFC guys endorsing it is no surprise, most pro athletes are morons, even the ones who don't get hit in the head a lot as part of their sport.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

More the stuff around the Dispatches episode "In Plain Sight" and whether he should really be featured at all.

Please use the quote function so people know when you reply to them.

It seems like you think featuring him is some sort of endorsement of him. But this is an expose that the product he's selling is useless shit.

No, clearly not - I don't think I'd want to place him in my videos simply down to the association.

What association? Again, it seems like you think people will believe that Linus "placed Russell Brand in a video" and therefore they must be buddies or something.

By this standard, nobody could do a video about the allegations against Brand you mention.... because of the "association."

(first off and irrelevant i salute you for the log horizon PFP and reminding I need to finish it)

Welcome to the internet where media literacy dies

I doubt the person you are replying to wants a civil discussion but just wants to point fingers going by assosiation to the person rather than accepting that ppl can comment on the person or work with said person before anything bad comes out

Better warn news channels that they are associated with anyone they report on then.

Did you read the rest of my post?

If you can't put Brand in a video to say the product he's selling is shit because of "the association," then you also couldn't put him in a video to call him out for the alleged rape and abuse because of "the association."

So by your logic nobody should speak about anybody bad because they assosiate themselves with that person?
thats back akwards

We should speak and comment on said ppl to show we dont agree, endorse or yk say and prove we dont assosiate with said individual

I'm not talking about any association back to LTT, I'm just questioning whether I'd want to put Brand in the video given there wasn't a need to specifically mention him, purely because of the nature of the things he's likely to be charged with, but whatever - I'm out.

I joined this forum just to make this post. Amulets like these can be radio active, it's the height of irony. You wear an amulet to protect you from Wifi but you have something actually radioactive sitting in front of your heart and thymus gland, which can give you cancer

Lets start you off with an easy one, what YOU want isnt what LTT or other audience members want

Secondly if you arent speaking about association with LTT why are you refering to it at all? Either smt isnt clicking correctly up there for you or you said cause it SEEMED like smt while being a nothing burger

Lastly, and? the nature of his charges and what he is now mentioned for in the video arent relevant. Ones to put him in jail the other is to paint him in a non good way, both are in agreement so where is the issue?

This was great! I love that Linus used the expensive equipment to do some divulgative science right there.

Here the obligatory Lisa anti-tiger charm

Exactly what I was thinking, or shoving it into a cloud chamber.  I mentioned it earlier when a guy was wondering why Linus was wearing it.

Honestly those kind of junk things always gets me nervous in terms of them putting something that "appears" to potentially work by emitting radiation on the device.

Actually, given that they were cutting into it etc...they really should be doing it as a precaution now, not even for the video, nothing worse than breathing in microparticles of radiation dust when they weren't wearing masks during the cut
