I just got my ryzen 5 9600x and it is reaching 90C with a 360mm EK AIO on 105w tdp and i have good thermal paste and removed all plastic peels. Should it be running this hot? also my motherboard is a gigabyte x670 aorus elite ax. Any fixes?

Is this during gaming or 100% load like cinebench?

High temperatures on a Ryzen 7000 and 9000 series of CPU's is completely normal.

They are actually made to run at 95C 24/7.

The CPU IS actually designed to reach 95c before limiting clocks or power.

What you are seeing is normal for a Ryzen 9600x.  It doesn't actually matter what cooler, it will go high in temp.

I will link 2 videos that explain this further.

Timed this GN video. skip to 24:16 at the end for further information.

Dont be alarmed by the fire in the thumbnails, just for clicks 🙂

The Ryzen 9000 series behaves the same as Ryzen 7000.

This is while running cinebench, thanks for the response

Perfectly normal then. Absolutely nothing to worry about!  90c is actually fairly decent considering a cinebench run.

Watch the videos if you want.

But overall, absolutely nothing to worry about.  Just continue using the system as you normally would 🙂
