Hey guys,

After 7 years it is finally time. I want to upgrade my PC. As you can see above, I want to play a lot of flight sims and more - which also means I am also looking for a hefty CPU upgrade.
I have also listed the existing parts I want to keep (except maybe the motherboard). To be clear: I'm coming from a GTX 1060 and an AMD Ryzen 5 2600... so it doesn't really matter to me if graphics card 2 is "only" 10% faster than graphics card 1, if you know what I mean. So I am thinking about upgrading to a RTX 5080, but on the CPU side I am still undecided. I also aim for a good 1440p performance for now, with room to upgrade to 4k at a later moment...

I look forward to hearing your thoughts. And if upgrading to a 5080 is worth it...

Cheers,

To save a bit on that as well as that list is great You can also go with a cheaper motherboard like a b650 or a b850 which are cheaper
