Motherboard and CPU

Hi guys I have a 3770 i7 CPU 3rd gen I want to run euro truck sim. And American truck sim using this CPU! It goes on 1155 socket boards so what do you recommend I buy to be Able to play theses games on high or medium settings cause on my HP computer it freezes and glitches so I don't enjoy the game at all! The computer is an HP flat desktop case the small ones core i7 3770 pro, 14gb ram, original power supply, MSI radio 6670 GPU 2X 1TB HDD and 2X 500Hdd no ssd

do you think its a cpu, or a gpu bottleneck? download an app like gpuz and check the gpu utilization while gaming, if its at 100% then its time for a gpu upgrade.

if its lower then you need to upgrade your cpu, the 3770 seems to be near the top range of cpus on the lga 1155 platform, so other than maybe getting that 2-3% performance improvement, you'll need a newer, more modern platform.

see what's cheap in your region, but you'll likely end up with an amd ryzen cpu on the am4 platform (you will also sadly need ddr4 ram)
